My Little Angel Baby
In my dream, came a child.
Through my soul, an angel I saw!
The gentleness of the wings,
gracefully in flight.
A youngster with a smile.
I watched in wonder,
curiosity with belief!
Suddenly, in despair,
the little angel child had fallen.
As I rushed over,
My voice cried out!,
"Don't hurt the little angel baby,
For that's my little child".
As I held on,
the little angel became soothed.
Smiles overtaking both!
The child soon again tried,
the little wings soon took on flight.
The eyes of the child,
sparkling with loves delight.
Through me, and all around
this little angel flew.
A very special gift of thanks,
that I've never before knew.
These words of Love I heard,
bringing a mist to my eyes,
such a beautiful little voice saying,
"I shall always be with you, Thank you!,
For I am your Little Angel Child".
