The Child Within Us All
Standing here alone, a child!
The descendant of Time.
Precious are those little eyes!
So precious in the heart!
Tender and warm with that smile,
The smile, bringing you to your knees!
Many have turned away that child,
Bringing tears to those eyes.
Breaking that child's heart!
Didn't they know of the pain,
I wonder, were they treated the same way!
We are all just a child inside,
With those precious little wings,
Desperately wanting to fly.
We all need those helping hands,
Releasing us, leading us to be free.
Free with the love, it's unconditionally!
Remembering how we are,
And where we all shall go,
You should listen to that little child,
That little child is just letting you know.
"I Don't want to cry, I don't want that pain,
I just want your love, so please take my hand.
Lead me to a life, that I need to live.
Please don't turn me away,
I have so much to give.
I am of you and you are of me.
Please lets live life together,
Together for eternity."
