Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys has given the generous sum of $10,000 to sheriffs in Cherokee County where he lives,to thank them for recovering his two Chihuahuas.
The grateful deputies are using the money to purchase thirty new bulletproof vest.Brian Littrell's Chihuahuas Tyke and Litty were stolen last July but were soon found by the sheriff's who returned them to their worried owner.
The theft of Brian's dogs has been blamed on his celebrity status.However,when worldpop spoke to fellow Backstreet Boy AJ McLean back in November,he told us he would prefer the dogs to be threatened than members of the band!'To me that's not really life-threatening.You can always get another dog!' AJ said.
