Chapter 2 of The Rains of Urdaisunia is posted. Each chapter is kind of taking a while to edit. The drafts are very bad, laden with purple prose and purpler dialogue. Rashali talks like the brattiest wench in the worst romance novel ever, and Eruz is just a dork. But I'll beat this thing into shape, and hopefully it won't turn out too bad. On the up side, I found my old files on a Zip disc where I had copied them from the old 3" floppies a long time ago and then forgot about it. Lots of files of other old stories too, so lots to keep me busy for a long time to come! Anyway, "Rains of Urdaisunia" isn't as complete as I thought it was, and like I said the writing is pretty bad (I think my writing has improved A LOT in the last 15 or 16 years) but this will save me much re-typing of ancient, faded dot-matrix printouts. So, yay.

On a roll here. Chapter 1 of The Rains of Urdaisunia is up. The first of many, many chapters. I could call this puppy "The Gods Must Be Crazy," (you'll see why), but that's already been done. ^_^ I also want to repeat what I said in the notes: despite some superficial similarities, no parallels or commentary on world events in the Real World (such as it is) are intended.

Holy Guacamole, two updates in one day! I've got the Prologue and Who's Who for The Rains of Urdaisunia up. Just a little taste of the (I hope) goodness yet to come!

Okay, it's cheesy, it's mushy, I just want to post it so I can get on with my life. And my next story, Urdaisunian Rains (still a cheesy title, but better). Anyhoo, it's the Epilogue of Chosen of Azara.

Ahem. Right. So, three (!!!) years later, we have Chapter 19 of Chosen of Azara.
I think I'm going to quit being so perfectionistic about editing this stuff. I've been reading lots of commercially published crap that apparently has never seen the light of an editing day.
So, just the Epilogue, which I'll try to keep short and non-cheesy. Then it's on to The Urdaisunian Bride (insert less cheesy title here, please), which I'm having to re-type because when I inserted the floppy disc I thought it was on, I got a message saying, Disc not formatted, would you like to format now?
Um, no. I just want my story.

Added Chapter 18 of Chosen of Azara
Sorry for the delay. I was also trying to get Chapter 19 ready, but it was taking a while so I decided to just go ahead and post 18. Chapter 19 should be ready soon. The Epilogue is probably going to turn into a whole chapter, so it'll take a little longer than I thought at first, but this whole thing should be finished by the end of June, if not sooner!

Added Chapters 16 and 17 of Chosen of Azara
The end is in sight for this story! Two more chapters and an epilogue, which hopefully won't need as much work as these two chapters did. Next up, after a delay to rewrite the chapters I deleted 11 years ago >_< will be The Urdaisunian Bride, which is also going to get a new title because I think the present title is really stupid.
