Freebies!
Free games? You're kidding, right? Nope! The best way to learn the THW system is to get stuck in and play it, so
we're giving away some free games to anyone who wants them! All are available to download in PDF form.
OK, but why?
Each one is a stand-alone game that will give you a glimpse into how the Two Hour
Wargames game mechanics work. Especially the unique Reaction System.
So what's the catch? No catch. We just want to provide gamers with a free sample of what Two Hour
Wargames is about and these games cover a wide variety of periods.
What about figures?
All the rules from Two Hour Wargames can be played with any figures that
you want. Even those cool ones from that other set of rules that ended up in your closet. Just
dig them out and put them to use.
Well what if I like them and want to check out more Two Hour Wargames? Simple. Join the THW Yahoo Group
by following the link and ask questions. Once you feel comfortable check out the THW site and
see if anything is interesting.
Just remember these free games are simplified versions of the current THW games. So what
are you waiting for?
Lastly, before we get on with the list of freebies, a reminder about the
Two Hour Wargames Yahoo group! - If you have
ANY questions about ANY Two Hour Wargame, including these freebies, then head to the group where you'll find
around 2500 gamers, as well as the THW authors, ready to answer any questions you might have, no matter how silly
they sound!
Babyface and Me - Free scenario using CR2 rules, based around
1920's gangsters.
MG42 - A Free, playable WWII scenario using the reaction system. PDF, 795KB
Dog Soldiers - A Free scenario using Chain
Reaction 2 rules, based on the movie of the same name. We're even generous enough to provide some great looking
Paper Minis that you can print and use to play Dog Soldiers with!
Santa Claus Wars - A minigame designed around the figures by
Wargames Supply Dump.
Turkey Shoot! - It was Thanksgiving and Mordecai was told to "go get a turkey". Seemed simple enough....
