GENERAL INFORMATION
SHOW YEAR October 1, 2001 thru September 30, 2002.
ELIGIBLE SHOWS All USAEquestrian/USDF recognized shows that are also TDC-approved shows will count towards yearend awards.
All TDC-recognized schooling shows will count toward yearend awards.
Eligible shows include, but are not limited to, all TDC shows, CARA shows, ADA shows, State Championships, and Regionals.
Recognized USAEquestrian/USDF shows and TDC-recognized schooling shows will be tallied and awarded separately.
ELIGIBLE HORSES Owners of all horses must be current TDC members in good standing at the time of the show for scores to be eligible.
Horses may be of any age, sex, or breed unless otherwise specified in an individual award description.
ELIGIBLE RIDERS All riders must be current TDC members in good standing at the time of the show for scores to be eligible.

It is the rider's responsibility to notify the Awards Chairperson of any changes that affect yearend award status. Such changes include, but are not limited to, a change in status; or horse name change. Failure to notify the Awards Committee Chairperson of any changes may result in the loss of the award.
SCORES All scores for yearend awards are tabulated using percentage scores earned by each horse/rider combination throughout the show year at each level (Intro - Grand Prix) and in each category (junior, adult amateur, open, etc.).
The top six scores earned in at least three shows will be used to tabulate the awards in the Recognized Show Division for the USAEquestrian Training through Fourth Levels.
The top three scores earned in at least three shows will be used to tabulate the awards in the Recognized Show Division for the FEI levels.
The top three scores earned in at least three shows will be used to tabulate the awards in the Recognized Show Division for the Musical Freestyle Award.

The top six scores earned in at least three schooling shows will be used to tabulate the awards in each level in the Schooling Show Division.
All awards will be presented at the TDC Yearend Awards Banquet.

RECOGNIZED SHOW AWARDS (USAEquestrian/USDF)
ADULT AMATEUR Yearend awards and recognition will be given to Adult Amateur horse/rider combinations for USAEquestrian Training through Fourth Levels. Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded.
Three USAEquestrian/USDF/ TDC-recognized shows per level are required. The six best scores per level for the horse/rider combinations will be used.
Adult Amateur is defined as anyone who is 22 years of age or older as of September 1 during the awards year and who holds an amateur card from USAEquestrian.
The award may not be won more than three times by the same horse/rider combination at the (Continued on page 8)
