Santa Fe. Ah, c'est la vie! There's always another horse show down the road. In any case, I wish the best to Anna Calek, who's showing Stonehenge for Beth Glass; and to the entire Agape Gang, as well as other TDC members who are making the trek to New Mexico. I know the Tucson crew will show Region 5 how to ride Dressage right!!!
And speaking of doing it right, the Aim High squad really showed 'em what's what at the Diamondback Pony Club Dressage Schooling Sshow. Pony clubbers Brett Cadden and Rachel High outdid themselves by bringing home top honors. Brett earned two blues in Intro on her new partner, Errand. And then she took two blues again at Training Level on Anna Calek's Mikey. Rachel and Harry sPotter landed a First and a Second in Training 1 and 2 for Juniors. Even the adults did well: Ann Pearson-Wegner took Solo out

for their first show in six years and placed first and second at Training Level. Hurray! Michelle Manshardt won the award for most test ridden in one day. She showed Solo for Ann, Jim the Pony for Rachel, as well as another client's horse. We all had to laugh when she shared that the judge thought she was one of the Pony Clubbers on a cute little Welsh pony!
The Pony Club Dressage Show was a huge success in part due to the efforts of some Aim High volunteers. Thanks to Sally Manshardt for a superior job at Gate Management; to Alice Furgason who ran her Nike's flat; and to Peggy Nicholas, who scored big time points in the adding machine department.
