The Festival of the Horse  welcomes Ulla Salzgeber to the Los Angeles Equestrian Center  on March 30 and 31, 2002.

Ulla's career started more than three decades ago, when she started vaulting. In 1976 she was Rhineland Champion in dressage and a year later she was European Champion with the junior team. She has won several championships since then, and most recently Ulla and "Rusty" won the 2001 European Championship. They also won Team Gold and the Individual Bronze at the Australian Olympics.

Ulla enjoys teaching, and she has an endless supply of exercises for the horse and rider.  She will gear her two-day symposium to the auditors sharing her expertise from the young horse to Grand Prix.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to learn from the #1 rider in the world, and you are invited to discover Ulla's training techniques. According to Ulla, "What I love to do most is to train and teach."

This symposium is  USDF University-approved. For further information and updates, please call (818)841-3554, or (714)779-1868; or visit www.cornerstonedressage.com.

Miguel Duarte, master rider and instructor from Portugal, will be in Phoenix April 2 and 3. An accomplished rider, Miguel performs "airs above the ground," and is a most effective master instructor. He placed 15th in the European Championships this fall with a Lusitano stallion. If you ride a Baroque horse, or just wish you did, don't miss this educational and fun clinic. To ride with Miguel (about $200 for 2 days), or audit the clinic ($10 per day), call Nancy Miller at 602 930-7748
