President's Message

Dear TDC Members,

I would like to take this opportunity to point out some items of interest to you, the membership.  TDC has a new website.  The site address is  www.tucsondressageclub.org. You can read current and past newsletters, find your show results, or view the calendar of upcoming events.

TDC is pleased to announce that Walter Zettl will be returning to Tucson, April 13-14, 2002, and limited rides are available to TDC members.  Riders in the previous clinic found Mr. Zettl to be an excellent teacher with many insights.  Spaces will fill quickly, but auditors are encouraged to attend as well.

Last month I thanked the retiring Board members, but I forgot to mention someone whose contributions to this club have been invaluable and immeasurable.  Carolyn VandenBerg has served TDC for the past five years as Secretary, President, TD, Show Manager, and all around Advisor.  In addition, she is the one who puts the Omnibus together every year so that each of us receives horse show information in a timely and organized fashion.  Maybe now that Carolyn has finished her time on the Board, she will have time to return to the show ring with her partner, Ripple Effect.  Thank you, Carolyn, for your years of dedication and hard work.  It is much appreciated.
