General Membership Meeting
January 8, 2001
University of Arizona Meat Lab
Present were Board members Ellie Stine-Masek, Jennifer Parker, Beth High, Dian Seabury, Carolyn VandenBerg, Beth Glass, Connie Holiman, Rachel Tanenbaum, and Robin Ritter. Also present were Lynn Boice, Anna Calek, Iréna Callahan, Stephanie and Bob Glock, Debbie Legner, Michelle Manshardt, Jeanne Moody, Wendy Russell, Holly Small, Glenda Toll, and Terri Wayne.
President Ellie Stine-Masek called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m.
Minutes: Minutes from the pervious meeting were approved with minor corrections being made by Beth Glass.
Treasurer's Report: The Treasurer's report was approved as submitted by D. Seabury.
Membership: S. Glock reported that there were 75 paid memberships for 2001 and this was better than last year at this time.
NEW BUSINESS
President Ellie Stine-Masek thanked the following people for their outstanding service contributions last year to TDC:
D. Seabury, treasurer who has put the organization in good financial shape; J. Parker, work on coordinating the prizes and trophies; B. Glass, work as both recording secretary and the newsletter; C. Holiman, work on the shows; C. VandenBerg, work on the Omnibus; N. Hansen and D. Leacy, work in coordinating volunteers; L. Allen, storing the show equipment; A. Gilmartin, making calls and getting volunteers.
SAVM seminar being held February 3rd. R. Ritter had fliers.
Inez Propfe-Credo clinic to be held weekend of January 13 has been filled according to G. Toll.
La Mariposa Show postponed to January 28th. Judge is L. Falco.
Slate of officers elected as published. Bylaws require ten percent of membership voting, and since 75 paid renewals meets this requirement for a quorum.
Motion to adjourn was made by M. Manshardt, seconded by C. Holiman and carried. The meeting was adjourned at
7:25 p.m.
