Vote at General Meeting August 24th
Proposed Changes to TDC By-Laws

Please carefully read the following proposals and plan on casting your vote at the General Meeting to be held August 24, 2002. If you have any questions or comments regarding these proposals, you may submit them to TDC President Jennifer Parker at JPAgape@aol.com.


PROPOSAL #1: Article II. Section 1. C. Membership
Current
:
Membership: Any person may become a member by payment of a fee and by accepting conditions to be determined from time to time by the Board of Directors. There shall be three classes of membership.
A. Regular --Full voting privileges, United States Dressage Federation association membership.
B. Family -- Consists of three individuals of the same family and each additional member shall pay one-half the single membership fee with regular member privileges.
C.
Associate--non-voting, no USDF associate membership.

PROPOSAL #2: Article III. Section 7. Duties of Treasurer
Current:

Treasurer: The Treasurer shall have charge and custody of and be responsible for all funds and securities of the corporation, receive and give receipts for moneys due and payable to the corporation from any source whatsoever, and deposit all such moneys in the name of the corporation in such banks, trust companies, or other depositories as shall be selected by the Board of Directors. He shall pay all debts of the corporation, and, in general, perform all the duties as from time to time may be assigned to him. All checks are to be countersigned by the President or another cosigner. A yearly report must be presented at the Annual Meeting.

Proposed:
