JULY 2002

President's Message

Dear TDC Members
,

This month, your newsletter contains important information that you will be voting on at the General Meeting on August 24th.  Please take a few moments to read the proposed changes to the by-laws and plan on attending the meeting so you may cast your vote.  If you have any other issues that you would like raised at the next General Meeting, please contact me so that I can place your item on the agenda.

Summer is in full swing and we're all trying to find things to do indoors to avoid the heat.  If you don't feel like going to another movie, come check out the next TDC Dressage University at Bodyworks Studio.  On August 10th, Bodyworks is opening its doors to TDC members and will introduce us to Pilates, a resistance-based training program that will help strengthen the muscles will all need to sit the trot.  In an effort to avoid the heat but still ride, there will be an evening schooling show at La Mariposa on July 13th

Please take note, as well, of the Marilyn Quinto Memorial Scholarship Award information.  These scholarships are open to all TDC members who meet the basic requirements and submit an application postmarked September 15, 2002.  Don't delay
--ask for TDC money today!

Good luck to all the TDC members competing at the Flagstaff shows!

Sincerely,
Jennifer A. Parker
