ROOKIE RIDER AWARD Yearend awards and recognition will be given to a rider at either Training or First Level who has never competed in more than three recognized dressage shows in a given year. The rider may have shown in other equestrian disciplines prior to showing in dressage. Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded. Rider must be either a Junior or Adult Amateur.
Three USAEquestrian/USDF/TDC-recognized shows are required. The six best scores on all horses of the rider at Training or First Level will be averaged.
VINTAGE RIDER AWARD Yearend awards and recognition will be given to the Vintage

Champion through sixth place will be awarded for each level. Champion may not be won more than three times by the same horse/rider combination at the same level.
Three TDC-recognized schooling shows per level are required. The best six scores per level for the horse/rider combination will be used.
