The award may not be won more than three times by the same horse/rider combination at the same level, with the exception of Grand Prix.

MUSICAL FREESTYLE
Yearend awards and recognition will be given to horse/rider combinations for any level Musical Freestyle class.  Champion through sixth place will be awarded.

Three USAEquestrian/USDF/TDC-recognized shows are required. The three best scores for horse/rider combinations will be used.

The award may not be won more than three times by the same horse/rider combination at the same level.

ARABIAN AWARD
Awarded to the horse, either purebred or half-Arabian, with the highest average of two scores. One score must be earned at the TDC November show and one score must be earned at the TDC May show. Scores may be earned at any level with any rider. Both owner and rider of the horse must be TDC members in good standing at the time the scores are earned.

HIGH POINT
RIDER AWARDS

ADULT AMATEUR

Yearend awards and recognition will be given to Adult Amateur riders for any level (Training through Grand Prix) with the highest average of scores.

Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded at each level.

Three USAEquestrian/USDF/TDC-recognized shows are required. The six best scores on all horses of any Adult Amateur rider in an Adult Amateur class will be averaged.

A rider shall compete as an Adult Amateur from the beginning of the calendar year in which s/he reaches the age of 22.

JUNIOR/YOUNG RIDER
Yearend awards and recognition will be given to Junior/Young Riders for any level with the highest average of scores. Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded.

Three USAEquestrian/USDF/TDC-recognized shows are required. The six best scores on all horses for a junior rider in any Jr./YR class will be averaged.

A rider shall compete as a Junior until the calendar year in which s/he reaches the age of 22.

OPEN
Yearend awards and recognition will be given to Open riders for any level with the highest average of scores. Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded.

Three USAEquestrian/USDF/TDC-recognized shows are required. The six best scores on all horses of any Open rider in Open level class will be averaged.

Open riders are not eligible to receive Junior or Adult Amateur awards.

ROOKIE RIDER AWARD
Yearend awards and recognition will be given to a rider at either Training or First Level who has never competed in more than three recognized dressage shows in a given year. The rider may have shown in other equestrian disciplines prior to showing in dressage. Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded. Rider must be either a Junior or Adult Amateur.
