practicing.  Sometimes just watching good riders demonstrate the elegance and style of an effective upper level rider was an inspiration. 

Just when I would get discouraged, a clinician would break through my learning haze and say exactly what the trainer had been telling me for months.  But, since a clinician is expensive, it is much more believable!  Even at horse shows, other trainers and riders have been generous with helpful hints and encouragement.  And a judge who

rewards your efforts is always appreciated.  Speaking of shows - praises for all those organizers, volunteers and workers who devote themselves to providing quality shows for us in Arizona.
I get tired and frustrated and hot; I've had broken bones and a concussion and recurring migraines.  But with so many talented and caring people right here in Arizona to help, I just keep getting up every morning and trying again. Now for the Silver. . .
