Who I Am

I am a 9th grader at Foothill High School in Pleasanton, California. I was born in New York though both of my parents are from Shanghai, China. I'm a nice person and will help people whenever the opportunity is presented. I have many hobbies, such as swimming, basketball, piano, and playing computer games.

My Accomplishments

• 4.0 GPA during all of junior high(2001-2003)
• Won elementary school spelling bee(2000)
• Won junior high spelling bee(2003)
• Placed 8th at Chapter(Regional) Mathcounts Competition(2002)
• Placed 1st at Chapter Mathcounts Competition Countdown Round(2003)
• School Team placed 1st at Chapter Mathcounts Competition(2003)
• Placed 20th at State Mathcounts Competition(2003)
• Foothill High School Honors Geometry 1st Place(2003)
• Public Division 1(Western United States) Honors Geometry 2nd Place(2003)
• Scored among highest on SAT I in Johns Hopkins University's Talent Search(2003)
• Received Citizenship Award(2001)
• Passed Advanced Level(Level 10) for piano(2003)
• Performed in Honors Branch Piano Recital(2002 and 2003)

My Goals

• To be accepted in to Stanford or U.C. Berkeley
• To get a Ph.D and M.D.
• To become an orthopedic surgeon
