9:12-14 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will
be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
9:13-15 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the
rainbow appears in the clouds,
9:15-17 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will
see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living
creatures of every kind on the earth."
13:20-22 By day the LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of
cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire
to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night.
13:21-23 Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the
pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.
14:18-20 Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in
front of Israel's army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud
also moved from in front and stood behind them,
14:19-21 coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel.
Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and
light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long.
14:23-25 During the last watch of the night the LORD
looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army
and threw it into confusion.
16:9-11 While Aaron was speaking to the whole Israelite
community, they looked toward the desert, and there was the glory of the
LORD appearing in the cloud.
19:8-10 The LORD said to Moses, "I am going to come
to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear me speaking
with you and will always put their trust in you." Then Moses told the
LORD what the people had said.
19:15-17 On the morning of the third day there was thunder
and lightning, with a thick cloud over the mountain, and a very
loud trumpet blast. Everyone in the camp trembled.
24:14-16 When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud
24:15-17 and the glory of the LORD settled on Mount Sinai.
For six days the cloud covered the mountain, and on the seventh day
the LORD called to Moses from within the cloud.
24:17-19 Then Moses entered the cloud as he went on
up the mountain. And he stayed on the mountain forty days and forty
33:8-10 As Moses went into the tent, the pillar of cloud
would come down and stay at the entrance, while the LORD spoke with Moses.
33:9-11 Whenever the people saw the pillar of cloud
standing at the entrance to the tent, they all stood and worshiped, each
at the entrance to his tent.
34:4-6 Then the LORD came down in the cloud and
stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the LORD.
40:33-35 Then the cloud covered the Tent of
Meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
40:34-36 Moses could not enter the Tent of Meeting because
the cloud had settled upon it, and the glory of the LORD filled the
40:35-37 In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever
the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out;
40:36-38 but if the cloud did not lift, they did
not set out--until the day it lifted.
40:37-39 So the cloud of the LORD was over the
tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight
of all the house of Israel during all their travels.
16:1-3 The LORD said to Moses: "Tell your brother
Aaron not to come whenever he chooses into the Most Holy Place behind the
curtain in front of the atonement cover on the ark, or else he will die,
because I appear in the cloud over the atonement cover.
9:14-16 On the day the tabernacle, the Tent of the
Testimony, was set up, the cloud covered it. From evening till
morning the cloud above the tabernacle looked like fire.
9:15-17 That is how it continued to be; the cloud
covered it, and at night it looked like fire.
9:16-18 Whenever the cloud lifted from above the
Tent, the Israelites set out; wherever the cloud settled, the
9:17-19 At the LORD's command the Israelites set out, and
at his command they encamped. As long as the cloud stayed over the
tabernacle, they remained in camp.
9:18-20 When the cloud remained over the tabernacle
a long time, the Israelites obeyed the LORD's order and did not set out.
9:19-21 Sometimes the cloud was over the tabernacle
only a few days; at the LORD's command they would encamp, and then at his
command they would set out.
9:20-22 Sometimes the cloud stayed only from
evening till morning, and when it lifted in the morning, they set out.
Whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud lifted, they set
9:21-23 Whether the cloud stayed over the
tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain
in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out.
10:10-12 On the twentieth day of the second month of the
second year, the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle of the
10:11-13 Then the Israelites set out from the Desert of
Sinai and traveled from place to place until the cloud came to rest
in the Desert of Paran.
10:33-35 The cloud of the LORD was over them by day
when they set out from the camp.
11:24-26 Then the LORD came down in the cloud and
spoke with him, and he took of the Spirit that was on him and put the
Spirit on the seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on them, they
prophesied, but they did not do so again.
12:4-6 Then the LORD came down in a pillar of cloud;
he stood at the entrance to the Tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When
both of them stepped forward,
12:9-11 When the cloud lifted from above the Tent,
there stood Miriam--leprous, like snow. Aaron turned toward her and saw
that she had leprosy;
14:13-15 And they will tell the inhabitants of this land
about it. They have already heard that you, O LORD, are with these people
and that you, O LORD, have been seen face to face, that your cloud
stays over them, and that you go before them in a pillar of cloud
by day and a pillar of fire by night.
16:41-43 But when the assembly gathered in opposition to
Moses and Aaron and turned toward the Tent of Meeting, suddenly the cloud
covered it and the glory of the LORD appeared.
1:32-34 who went ahead of you on your journey, in fire by
night and in a cloud by day, to search out places for you to camp
and to show you the way you should go.
4:10-12 You came near and stood at the foot of the
mountain while it blazed with fire to the very heavens, with black clouds
and deep darkness.
5:21-23 These are the commandments the LORD proclaimed in
a loud voice to your whole assembly there on the mountain from out of the
fire, the cloud and the deep darkness; and he added nothing more.
Then he wrote them on two stone tablets and gave them to me.
31:14-16 Then the LORD appeared at the Tent in a pillar of
cloud, and the cloud stood over the entrance to the Tent.
33:25-27 "There is no one like the God of Jeshurun,
who rides on the heavens to help you and on the clouds in his majesty.
