Hello everybody my name is Stoney I am 17 Years old, im the guy on the left in the photo above. I am from Searcy, Arkansas and I am having a very hard time in life right now. See I quit school this year to get my G.E.D. A G.E.D is a test that many people take to get there High School Diploma. The reason I quit school was to get into college quicker and get a good education and a good job. I wanted to have a good life where I didnt have to worry about money all the time. I'm having a hard time with school. I'm a full time student at ASU-Beebe, located in Arkansas. I also work around 35 hours a week at a local restaurant "Coltons Steak House" located in Searcy, Arkansas. I was dishes there and bust tables. It is very hard to maintain good grades and work at the same time. The reason I cant get a good job is because im only 17 years old and theres nowhere to work where im from for minimum wage unless your over 18. I am the first person in my family to attend college.On the other hand, I have a very big problem in my hands and I have tried everything to help my parents out. Both of my parents are fully disabled.My mom has a severe back problem my dad was a former member in the vietnam war and has sever back problems also. They are not able to work. They draw a check every month from social security. They dont draw very much money at all, not near enough. My Whole Check that I make every two weeks working at Coltons Steak House goes to my parents to help pay for there bills. It was very hard to pay for my school intution and books. I got a grant that only paid for 500 out of the whole 1600 dollars it costed for me to attend school this year. I am still trying my hardest trying to pay this off. Aside from my job I have tried everything from side jobs to working for only a couple of dollars an hour just to help my parents out a little bit and help my parents out. All of this is not enough to help me pay for school and my parents bills. They are very nice people and dont deserve this. I dont even have a computer at the moment right now. I have to go to the college library and do my reports. I have spent the whole semester going in there a couple of hours a week trying to setup this website. I have to get a ride to college from my friend because I dont even have the money to pay for the gas to get to college. This is very sad I know and I have tried everything to succeed in college but I really do need help. I have setup this website so maybe some good hearted people would come across it and help me with my expenses for college and my parents. I am determined to succeed in college and make something out of my life, but without help I dont know if I will be able to do this. I was hoping that if anybody could please donate me any money it would help its doesnt matter if it's 50 cents anything will help me. I have tried everything and this is my last resort if I cant succeed with this idea then I wont be able to pay for school. Unless I won the lottery, it would be impossible, im only 17 years old anyways so im not even eligable to enter into it.
