Gayle Marks, from Stockton, CA arrived in Stockton about 4 months earlier after living with her father for 2 years. She worked at Rick's New York Style Pizza. She was last seen leaving her mother's work at San Joaquin County Mental Health at about 9:30 AM to walk over to the Department of Motor Vehicles a few blocks away. She reportedly received her California I.D. card. She had intended to visit a friend and then go to work at 5 PM. Gayle used public transportation and traveled by bus many times to and from work.
