This cat is too skinny

Keeping your cat around the right weight is a very important concept. With a cat being overweight it can shorten their life, give them diabetes, & heart problems. These are just a few problems that can occur. If your cat is an indoor cat you may have problems getting it to excercise. Another way to help maintain a healthy weight is too only allow you cat to eat for 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes at night. This limits their food consumption. Also it is best to get a good diet food, and make sure to read the ingredients. Most cheap foods are just fillers and have no nutrition value what so ever. If corn or wheat is one of the first two ingredients in the food then chances are it is just a filler food with not much nutritive value. When buying cat food look at the ingredients and look for chicken, fish, lamb, or any other meat to be on the first two ingredients. Then the food will be more healthy for your cat and he will enjoy it more. Another thing is when the food is pretty colors that means that they have dyed the food, and that is not healthy for your kitty either.
