Role Playing is an art that can only be perfected with experience and knowledge. I admit that even though I have been playing games online for the past four years I am still not good enough to call "Elite". As America Online is my main source for the internet, I take advantage of the Member Created chatrooms that specialize in a literature based fantasy game. There are splits between Modern Characters and those of Medieval periods. I only play Medieval characters as it is more fun to play something not of this current world surrounding us than something that is already in it. I change characters and develop them as I deem fit. My moods determine how long I play a certain character or if I even like how the particular personality turns out. Yes, I control my characters but after creation each seem to take on a life of their own and mold themselves one way when I would prefer them to be another. This satisfies my needs for adventure, intelligent conversation and finding others with similar interests as myself.
