Doug @ Angelfire

I'm black and white in a grey world.

This is my Angelfire site. Like with Tripod I have had this site for many years. This site since 2000. It still exists so I figured I would use it. It's $2.95 a month for no advertising and I will use it mostly for modifying and developing my personal and family websites.

Two past family owned businesses, Woodwork and Crafts and Common Sense Computer (Richard Dine). I will this year attempt to bring Woodwork and Crafts back.

This year I will be trying to eat better, especially at work. I spend too much money for lunch everyday and mostly each junk.

I am currently bringing the Dine family ancestry pages up to date. DINE or DINE' ('din-nay', if you are Navajo). This was brought to our attention many years ago while living in Arizona. So far though no indian blood in our family that we have seen. They are some stories though from many years back told to me by my Uncle (Richard Dine) about unknown indians attending Dine funerals. They were apparently from the upper peninsula in Michigan.

This site along with the others is being built using the Skeleton responsive boilerplate. It's a great starting point for small simple websites. It is very easy to build upon and customize. I am currently building a custom CSS template based on this.

The Grid

The grid is a 12-column fluid grid with a max width of 960px, that shrinks with the browser/device at smaller sizes. The max width can be changed with one line of CSS and all columns will resize accordingly. The syntax is simple and it makes coding responsive much easier. Go ahead, resize the browser.
