On Christmas Eve I finally got my laptop fixed up. I had to format everything on the hard drive, which is a lot of mp3s from Jebus, but everything else is retrieveable.
The ordeal brought me to Yongsan three times. The last time, I brought my camera. But first we start off in Suwon, where we had a white Christmas. Unfortunately, this was smog.

This is in Yongsan, which is the main electronics district.

This parking attendant is full of Christmas spirit.

I want to make this sign into a button. There are no mods in Korea (unless you count skinheads) but scooters are extremely common.

This is the passage underneath the subway.

The first time I went to Yongsan I got lost and found myself on an overpass. Unfortunately, the smog blocked the view, but right up this street you can see the Korean CN tower-type building looming over the city.

Everyone here has an obsession with claiming that Santa Claus is Asian (or should be). Unfortunately, none of them would let me sit on their lap.

When I got back to Suwon the smog had sort of cleared up. Compare this with the first picture.

These things are really good.

I went out on Christmas Eve headed for a party, but it was cancelled while I was in transit. This is the station at Sungkyunkwan University when I got back.

I went to the Internet cafe and met my friend there. He took me out to a karaoke bar at 2:00am.

Just some drunk guy candid shot. This particular bar is open 24 hours a day.

Here's my friend from the Internet cafe singing Hey Jude. I don't know how to pronounce his name in Korean.

Drunkenness.

Peach slices and some little things I'm gonna call cornholes.
