Going through Seoul on Saturday

On Saturday night I went into Seoul to try and find a punk show. The subway was packed wall-to-wall at 6:30pm.

I haven't once had to use a squatter, and I intend to keep it that way.

I went to Sinchon to find the place pretty well dead, unlike last Friday night. So I caught the train to Sillim, another nightclub district. Below is a rare vacated street.

Here's the usual bustle of Sillim.

This place is, as you can see, a members-only disco. Kind of like the local version of Rum Jungle and Juice and all those nightclubs in West Edmonton Mall, only these ones actually allow Asians in (although there are just as many Asians in both).

I discovered a club that will have a show the following night. I'll try again later.
