heat quicker and more evenly with a large electrical coil unit which circles the bottom of the stainless steel skillet. This makes it possible for
the skillet to reach its cooking temperature faster than any oil core skillet. Plus, the heat is so even that it will actually fry a chicken without having to add grease or
cooking oil.
The 1350 watt electrical control is completely removable. The high dome lid that comes with our electric skillet has a 'thick bottom' which gives you the convenience of stack cooking. Temperature range is from 220 to 420 degrees. The skillet's depth is 2 1/4 inches.
This unique electric skillet is really two pans in one. The skillet includes a glass lid plus the dome lid.
The glass lid allows you to see what you are cooking, and the high dome stainless steel lid is used to cover the skillet when preparing larger food items. This high dome cover can also be reversed and used as a stove top griddle, and the versatile glass lid will fit the stainless dome cover when you are using it as a frying pan. In addition, the base and both covers feature "stay cool" handles and knobs. Whether you're cooking for your family or friends this set will allow you to cook healthier - or you can fry foods — whatever fits the occasion.
Since the UL approved control knob is removable, our stainless electric
skillets can be completely immersed in water for easy clean-up jobs.
