Elective Classes

Basic Class Information

Classes are held Monday mornings before Park Day at
Valley Heights Baptist Church - 1827 W Grovers Ave
(SE corner of 19th Ave. & Grovers)

Session I - 8 Weeks
Begins Sept. 30, 2002
Last Class Nov.18, 2002
Make Up Class Nov. 25, 2002 (if necessary)

Class Specifics

  1. Parent may stay with student in the class, at no additional charge, as long as they are not disruptive OR parent may drop off/pick up child.
  2. Children need to have good classroom behavior and parents need to partner with the teachers to reinforce this.
  3. Homework will be assigned but is not mandatory. It is designed to enhance classroom learning but will not be graded.
  4. Students in Session 1 will be given priority in registering for Session II.
  5. If necessary, because one week of class is cancelled (usually due to illness or family\ emergency), teacher will make up that class on the Monday following the last scheduled class of the session. In extreme cases a substitute may be utilized.

    Class Registration Information

    Registration opens Fri., Sept. 6, 8:30 pm at Back to School Night.
    A family MUST be members of Roadrunner Home Schoolers to register and take elective classes. Each family also needs to complete a class registration form and pay an annual $10 registration fee when they reserve class spots. For Session I, Payment must be made by Monday, Sept. 16th or the reserved spots are given to those on the waiting list. No refunds given after Tues., Oct. 1st for session I classes.
