I wish I knew how to comprehend
the pain I see within a friend,
I'm not able to see what's real
and I'm not quite sure how to feel,
but here I am to be a part,
as a friend to mend a broken heart.
Once they're gone and all is done,
I know it's hard but please move on.
You know he cares he's watching you,
so treasure the memories
you had up to the time he left,
before you could say, "Good-bye."
Now all that's left is to pray .....
