A child starts learning at time of birth and continues to leaarn into old age. The first few years of learning sets the stage for the rest of their lives.
2/29/00: a 6 year old took a gun to school and in the middle of hus classroom shot and killed a 6 year old girl. 22 other 1st graders witnessed the shooting.
3/24/98: an 11 year old and a 13 year old boy opened fire on a school ground, killing 4 girls and a teacher, wounding 10 others.
12/01/97: a 14 year old opens fire in school hallway, killing three students and wounding 5 others. 1 girl was left paralyzed.
4/24/98: A 14 year old shot and killed a science teacher in front of students at an 8th grade graduation dance.
4/28/99: A 14 year old shot and killed 1 student and wounded another in an 11th grade classroom.
5/20/99: A 15 year old opened fire on school grounds wounding 6 students. Fortunately, no one was killed.
5/21/98: A 15 year old opened fire on school grounds, killing 2 and wounding 20 others after slaying his parents.
This list goes on and on. Its time for something to be done. In each of these shootings, the gun was owned by a family member, including grandparents. The adults had no idea their guns were missing.
