JEFF R. VETTER
06/3/78 to 06/30/99
In Loving Tribute to My Son Jeff and all the others who have lost lives due to accidents, suicides or murders.
Jeff was like a comet that streaked through our lives in a flash, leaving only bright memories behind and to allow the love we had for him to continue to grow, blessing others in its path.

OUR MISSION:

Our mission is to give a voice to all who have fallen silent due to a traumatic death which would include accidents, suicides and murder.

To educate adults and children on behavioral issues. Tips on how to read body language and recognizing warning signs.

To show what actually happens, not only to the person who lost their life, but to their family and friends left behind.

To help people, particularly children, understand what happens not only to the person who caused the trauma, but also to their family members and friends.

THE PURPOSE
of The Quilt of Silence

The Quilt of Silence is designed to become the voices of all those silenced by a traumatic death. It's their vehicle to tell their stories, through the quilt block images, in order to enlighten and inform everyone who views it to save innocent lives in the future.

From the steps of the Arizona State Capitol to the Capitol building in Washington, D.C. and beyond, the Quilt of Silence will be educating people, breaking the chain of ignorance by bringing information and straight talk about life and death and safety to every community throughout the country.

With firearms being the #1 choice in America and knowing that our children have access to guns, the J.R.V. Organization will promote gun education for all ages so they will grow up learning to respect and understnad the consequences of the unsafe use of guns.

Members of our organization are NOT against guns. We feel that the manifestation of ignorance is what kills people everyday.

THE QUILT

If a picture is worth a thousand words, can a picture of someone who has lost their life help speak these words? We think so.

Faces of individuals on a special quilt can reach out and touch our hearts in a meaningful way. We will remember the faces we see and we can help to give the quilt a voice. This voice will be heard down here on earth.

The Quilt of Silence, because of your voice and mine, will reach out to young people and old alike.

If a person has been touched by the faces of the victims, on the quilt, that have died as a result of a trauma, if that person ever thinks of harming themselves or others, they will remember the faces and stop themselves before its too late.

Donations for The Quilt of Silence may be made at any Bank of America across the country. Please reference either JRV Organization or The Quilt of Silence. Thank you for your support
