Arcylic can be applies to a natural nails or to a tip . Acrylic is a strong overlay which provides strength to the nails. Once the nails is applies and finished by the technician it can be filed by you at anytime. It is necessary to have Acrylic nails filled once ever 2-3 weeks depending on the growth of the natural nail. It is essential that you only use non asertone nails polish remover as acertone will remover the acrylic from the nail.
WHAT IS ACRYLIC AND HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?
acrylic overlay is made up of 2 parts the acrylic powder and the acrylic liquid
Once the acrylic powder is mixed with the liquid it forms a soft ball which is applied to the nail or tip
The mixture drys and forms a strong layer to harden and strengthen the nail
Many people are under the impression that this type of overlay destroys your natural nails
This is UNTRUE
If the overlay and tip are applied correctly no damage should be caused to your natural nail
Only the top layer of oil and smooth surface should be removed to enable adheshion to the overlay is all that is needed
