STEVE VAI-GREASY LIVE STUFF-2cds-11/25/95-This is one awesome concert from the Alien Love Secrets tour. It's great to hear the stuff from Alien Love Secrets! I love it!He plays a whole bunch of old stuff too and this is the only time I've heard "Viv Woman" live. Also two of the songs are early live versioins of songs that would later be on "Fire Garden". STEVE VAI - Voodoo Zone O.S.K.- (2cds)(1-26-2000) (audience recording (A/A-)(OSAKA) - Here's a great show from IMO the best tour Steve has done so far, "THE ULTRA ZONE!". Not only is this album great but the live performance is wonderful, he plays such rarities as "Erotic Nightmares", "Salamanders in the Sun", and "San San Nana Byoushi". Not to mention an awesome drum solo by Mike Mangini and key/guitar solo by Mike Keneally. You think all that is cool? What if I told you that they also did a cover or the Led Zepplin song "Black Dog"? THE ULTRA ZONE TOUR LIVE- (2cds) (A+ soundboard recording)-Alright, here's the very famous radio broadcast Steve Vai did in Holland in the year 2000. This is sourced straight from the radio and sounds better than any other Steve Vai live cds to date. There is a really cool interview with Steve as well as a soundcheck here, really cool. Mike Mangini has an amazing drum solo as well as a great keyboard/guitar solo by Mike keneally. STEVE VAI - LIVE in NY, NY 1993(exact date unknown)(B+/B)- Concert is great Vai plays a lot of tunes from passion. Him and devon are awesome together. Songs include call it sleep, in my dreams, for the love of god, thunder kiss 69, here and now, and a lot more About 2 hrs worth the footage. Sound quality is awesome, there is an occasional head that gets in the way, but no big deal. The quality is pretty good especially for how rare this is. Great to see some of this stuff live, especially "touching tongues", which is my favorite song of his.
STEVE VAI LIVE IN KOREA 1997- A great professional A++ video from the Fire Garden tour. The great songs of old and the great new ones are all on it! This was released on Japenese TV and is awesome quality. Definately one of the best video's I have. He performs all of the old stuff and all of the new stuff. He performs "Crossroads" live and it's the most amazing thing I've ever seen!!!!
