Mongolia

In October 1999 Robin went to UlaanBaatar with a small team from a local group, the Mongolian Orphans Association.  Robin, 17, was the youngest member of this humanitarian effort.  They distributed 6 tons of used clothing, donated by the community of Flagstaff, to needy families and children in and around the capital city of Mongolia.  MOA was founded by David Edwards, an award winning National Geographic photographer, who began taking clothes to orphan children in UB when he went there on assignments.  Life changing to all involved, this trip was one of the highlights of Robin's senior year.
