I set up an account on MySpace - it seems like the trendy thing to do these days. I figure that might be a more organized way to share my news. So that's likely where I'll be posting updates from here out. Check it out:

So I'm back in Flagstaff now- ready for my Junior year of college. Pine Ridge is really nice. It's a real privilege to have my own room & everything. My housemates Kelsey, Krista, and Cynthia all seem nice. I'm sure we will get along pretty well. I'm really glad to be back! The last two weeks were absolutely grueling. I was working at the home bulding company as well as cashiering at Craftmart to help out during their going-out-of-business sale. I was physically and mentally exhausted. 94 hours in 10 straight days is a lot for a person to take on. But I survived- and the extra cash will be nice. I'd like to go shopping today but I'm trying to avoid leaving the apartment. Today is the day when probably 85% of NAU students are moving in. I'm sure it's total chaos out there today. We'll see how it goes. Oh I will try & post some pictures from the American Idols concert. It was great! I took over 120 pics, 60+ of which turned out nicer than I had anticipated. :) So look for those!

Time for an update! Nothing too exciting is going on right now. I'm getting sort of restless with this summer. I'm currently on my 3rd and likely final temp assignment. I'm scanning documents and filing for a home building company. It's great pay & a full 40 hour week, so that's nice, but I'm just getting tired of this basically dead-end routine. I want to get back in school and do what I've set out to do. And I have no idea when I'll get to see Jason again. It just sucks. And it's hot as hell here. The heat totally zaps my energy. I'm missing Flagstaff for sure. Definitely caught in a lull right now, but I gotta keep going. I hope all my friends are having a better time. (Trevor's in Alaska right now- how unfair is that?) Well that's it for today.
6/29/05
Well I guess I haven't updated my site in awhile- until now! I finally filled in the movie reviews.. aren't you so proud? :) So this temp assignment has been longer than I expected- about 6 weeks instead of 3-4, but I'm done on Friday. Then I'm flying out to San Diego to visit Jason. It's been too long since we've seen each other. I'm very excited! Hopefully my Little Mouse will behave while I'm gone. She's been pretty agreeable since I first got her. I'm really happy to have her for a pet. Oh yea & I made the Dean's List yet again this year! Woohoo! K I guess that's all.
6/9/05
Ohhh it's been a long week. Work is super boring, but it should only be for about another week. My mouse has been terrified of me, but I think she's coming around. After running around in her new exercise ball, she let me hold her for awhile. Progress! Went bowling with mom lastnight cuz the tennis courts were full. It was pretty fun. Well that's about it!
6/4/05
Guess what everybody! I got a mouse today (the rodent kind, not the computer kind). I named her Ezekiel & she is grey & white. She's my new pal. I got about 2 weeks left at this temp job, thank goodness. I mean it's nice to get paid $10 an hour to read and do word search puzzles for 3 1/2 hrs a day, but I'm the type of person that likes a challenge. I can't be recognized for good work if I'm not doing anything. Hopefully something much better comes up. But in the meantime, I love you Jason & I miss you.

I finished my Sophomore year at NAU & ended with up with A's in Accounting, Geology, and Ethics and B's in Economics and Sociology. My GPA sits at 3.81, which isn't as great as I'd like, but I'm still on the Dean's list. I just spent a wonderful week with Jason here in Phoenix. We watched movies, mini golfed, and went to the zoo. We stayed with Katie at her apartment, so it was really nice getting to hang out with her too! I had fun. :) Right now I'm just waiting for the word from the temp agency that they've got a job for me. Hopefully it's soon- I'm really pining to make some money.
5/7/05
Instruction is over! I only have my finals left. In pretty much all my classes, I'm borderline A-B, so there's a lil pressure to do well. I've been working on some massive study guide (378 Qs) for Sociology, and I gotta get started on my Plato paper for Ethics. I've also been getting things packed up so I can get moved out of here Thursday. Jason now has a computer (2 actually) and internet (with a webcam) so we can talk & see each other that way now. :) He's gonna come visit me in Phoenix in about a week! Yay!
5/2/05
It's the last week of classes before finals! It's about time. Burnout has really been setting in. I did have a fun weekend though. Cameo came up to visit & we hung out with Chris, his friend Justin, and Nereyda. We went out to eat, played games, hit up Boardwalk (woah-oh-ohh), and chilled at Java. They were all very late nights. Good stuff. Jason says I'm a party animal. LOL- You know me, I'm a wild child. :) Hope everyone is good!

Just had a great weekend with Jason down in Yuma. It's always so wonderful to spend time with him. Had a little incident in Chris' car- some jackass rearended us & took off. We're okay though. Got back up to Flagstaff about 4am today. So exhausted. Only 2 weeks left in the semester after this one. The temp-agency is eagerly awaiting my arrival. :) This weather is so bizarre. It's the end of April & it's currently about 37 degrees & rainy. Not sure what happened to spring. Jason plans to take leave after he gets back to Pendleton so he can come see me in Phoenix. Already can't wait.
4/13/05
I've finally had both the time and the will to update my website! So my movie reviews are now current, and I put up a new page with celebrity pictures. I hope you appreciate them. :) It was an overwhelming start of the week with school, but it's all good now. I'm really enjoying American Idol. I've decided my favorite contestant whom I want to win- Constantine Maroulis! He is so awesome! If he doesn't win though, I would be happy with Bo Bice or Carrie Underwood. There's a lot of good singers this season! Whee I'm so glad I'm going down to Yuma to visit Jason next weekend. It's been too long..
4/2/05
I had been pretty bummed about going back to school at the beginning of the week, but once I got rolling, it was fine. Today was fun cuz Katie came up to Flagstaff! We were so back to our old antics- singing along to oldies & shopping at Ross. It was so refreshing to spend time with her again & we're looking forward to having some more traditional good times during the summer. Those are the most treasured, memorable times of my youth- spending my days with Katie. We are two peas in a pod! I'm also looking forward to the summer because Jason is determined to take me to Florida so I can form a (favorable) opinion of it. Should be fun. :)

I'm 20!!! My birthday was yesterday. :) I had a good week. It was my Spring Break so I got to spend 3 lovely days and nights with Jason in Yuma. So great to see him again! I already miss him & it'll be about 7 or so weeks before we meet again. *sigh* I should be keeping pretty busy with school & stuff though. Gotta drive back up to Flagstaff tomorrow! Who knows what the weather will be like. Could be warm, could be snowing. It's pretty weird. Okay well I don't have too much else to say, so later!
3/15/05
Three more days & I'm on Spring Break! Elli & Ben are coming up to visit me for the weekend (which I'm very excited about), and then I'll be headed home to Phoenix. Shortly after, I plan to drive down to Yuma to see my Jason (and hang out with Chris & Nereyda).
3/6/05
Well it's been pretty crazy lately. Both my roommates moved out last week (due to personal issues, not me!) so I'm alone. It's kinda nice, but at the same time it's a difficult adjustment as I'm so used to having people around all the time. I'm doing okay though. A couple of my midterm grades are already posted & I've got an A in ethics & a B in sociology. I have an evaluation/interview down in Phoenix on Friday with a temp agency so I can find a summer job. My birthday is coming up in a couple weeks & I'm gonna be the big 2-0! I miss Jason somethin terrible and I probably won't get to see him for at least another 5 weeks. This long distance stuff is really hard, but I'm determined to stick it out. I need him in my life- he means so much to me. At least he has a computer now so we will get to talk more. :)
2/20/05
5 weeks down, 11 to go! Looking forward to Spring Break cuz I'm going home with Anita to Taos, New Mexico & it should be fun. Unfortunately, I probably won't get to see Jason at all during that time. The distance gets really hard sometimes, but it's so worth it when we do get to be together. School is going pretty good. Definitely less stressful than last semester. We will see where I stand academically in a few weeks. Oh! I'm now officially a Business Major! Pretty cool huh? I've been sick with sinusitis/bronchitis the past week, but I think I'm in recovery at this point. I know some of my friends have been having a somewhat rough time lately, and I just hope that everything turns out okay.

Just finished my first week back to school & it went pretty well. I like all my professors so far- they seem really cool & funny. I have, however, been approached twice by my old Econ teacher who proceeds to torment me with comments along the lines of: if you had done good work right off the bat, you'd have gotten an A easy. *growl* I wanna choke that man. If he keeps harassing me, I'm gonna tell him off. But anyway, things are great up here in Flagstaff. Most of the heavy snows have melted & the days have been really quite nice. Looks as though Jason will be leaving me for 6 months to go to Iraq in March. I don't expect it to be a very enjoyable time for me, but I'm a tough cookie- I can get through it. And I've got me some great friends to help me along the way.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to express my new years resolutions. Took me some time to come up with one, but I got it! Two, actually: #1- To develop legible writing capability of my left hand. #2- To become more decisive, less impartial on everyday topics. That second one will probably be more challenging. I'm already coming along swimmingly on the ambidexterity. :)

Happy new year! I had a really nice holiday as I got to spend about 12 blissful days with Jason. Well, not all were blissful because the Marine Corps decided to make a couple of those days very difficult while I was there in San Diego, but overall, it was great. Good times. I got some neat things for Christmas, namely a digital camera & a Shiatsu massage cushion. ;) Also things like a toaster, calendars, Clay Aiken book, jacket, Shrek 2, and some other things. Not quite ready for the Spring semester, but I should be when the time comes (Jan 18).
12/22/04
My grades were FINALLY posted & here are the results... *drumroll*
I got 4 A's & 1 B!!! 4 A's! Accounting, Statistics, Programming, and Spanish! The B was in Economics of course. But crap! I'm in shock! I was expecting 2, maybe even 3 B's. Woohoo! I worked my ass off this semester. So my GPA sits at 3.88. Yeehaw!
12/19/04
I survived the semester! YAHOOOOOOOOO!!! Man was it ever dreadful! I'm still waiting for my grades to be posted, but so far I know I have 2 A's! :-D All finished Christmas shopping. I could do more, but I'm really feeling kinda apathetic about the whole thing. Just focused on Jason coming and getting to spend time with him.
12/8/04
Here is a
link to President Bush's speech at Camp Pendleton Tuesday, December 7, 2004 thanking the US Marine Corps. :) Take a listen- it's pretty inspirational.
12/3/04
Just one week left of school and then finals. Then I am home free for a whole month! Jason will be spending Christmas with me & my family so that will be really nice. Can't wait! Well it looks like I'm hanging on to a couple A's, but the B's are quite promising. It's been a tough semester! The spring should be good- I've got Geology & Sociology, so somethin a little different. :)
11/19/04
The vacation I had been waiting for finally came.. and then it went. Flew to San Diego last week to see Jason and for the Marine Corps Ball. Had a wonderful time, everything was so great, I didn't wanna leave. Enjoyed driving around Southern California in our Chevy Cavalier & Jeep Liberty rentals. Airplanes rock! Except that my flight back to Phx was delayed about an hour & a half- not so fun. Ever since I've been back, it's been absolutely crazy hectic. Plus I got some upper respiratory infection for a few days so that wasn't good. Anyway, I loved every minute I got to spend with Jason, it was awesome. Pictures are posted!
11/3/04

BUSH WON!!! YAY!!!!!!! I knew he could do it! What a close race though- whew. I must give Kerry some credit though for having the decency to concede Ohio & the presidency, unlike Mr. Gore 4 years ago who had to cry like a baby & demand a recount of Florida. Kerry accepted defeat & stepped down with respect. A worthy opponent. HOORAY FOR DUBYA! :-D
10/17/04
Things are good! Last weekend, my friend Margaret's fiance George & his friend Jason came to visit. They're Marines. Well Jason & I totally hit it off. I'd say I definitely fell for him. I don't recall ever clicking with anyone that quickly or that well. It's an incredible feeling. Well I get to see him in November when I fly to San Diego for their Military Ball. :) Can't wait!
