SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 9, 2000-- ReceiptCity, the leading provider of receipt-based infrastructure and services to retailers, today announced the appointment of Vivian M. ``Vivian possesses exceptional insight into how Internet technology can be integrated throughout the retail enterprise; her advice will be invaluable to management and our board,'' said Aziz Valliani, Chairman of the Board, president, and CEO of ReceiptCity. ``Her depth of retail experience and the boldness of her vision will help guide ReceiptCity to provide the infrastructure services that retailers need now and in the years to come.''
``There has never been a more exciting time to be part of the retail industry, when change occurs at Internet speed. Only one thing remains constant: the imperative to build and sustain intimate customer relationships,'' said Ms. Stephenson. ``ReceiptCity's Internet strategies give retailers real-time means for building these relationships both in the store and away from the store, and I am delighted to be able to work with ReceiptCity as it brings its services to retailers.''
