I believe in the whole Bible righty divided. I also believe the Bible is man's only God given authority for government, doctrine, faith, and hope. I believe that all instruction for the church must be based on and harmonize with, the word of God. If we discover our doctrines, or our positions, or our standards are not substantiated by the Holy Scriptures, then we must change them to fit God's Scriptures , because God's word is infallible not our church, or our doctrines, positions, or standards. We need to stop attempting to make God fit into the box of our doctrines. We cannot take Him from the surroundings of the doctrines of His word. Remember when you reject the truth, all that is left is a lie. We represent God in this hour, the church's greatest hour. We dare not misrepresent God. The eye's of the world are upon us. We are living in the closing moments of time. We as christians should not reflect the times,but we should reflect the greatness of God. We need to reflect hope,love,trust and truth in the times of their need. Jesus said," you will know the truth and the truth will make you free." John 8:32 He didn't say, you will ignore the truth. He also didn't say, don't even study to find out what the truth is. How can we know the truth? The Bible tells us we can know the truth by studying. 2 Timothy 2:15 The word studying here means, to show diligence to learn, to show eagerness to know, to earnestly seek,to study. The Amplified Bible in 2 Timothy 2 : 15 says it this way,"study and be eager and do your utmost." It goes on to say, "Correctly analyzing and accurattely dividing the word of truth." Remember Jesus does not want us to commit intellectual suicide. So let me conclude by saying, our standards, doctrines and organizational rules must be based on the evidence found in God's word.
