Midnight Moon

Midnight moon,

'member me?

Many moments met.

Many moments mourned.

Meshed magnet.

Microwaved mind.

Mixed meanings.

Misplaced mile.

Move me,

Macrocosms moon.

Midnight moon,

Member me?

Many moments mugged,

Many moment muffled.

Midget mask.

Magic mystery.

Mouth mold.

Melted memories.

Mucky mess,

My mind.

Midnight moon,

'member me?

Many moments monopolized,

Many moments mounted.

Misused majority.

Memorized maze.

Monarch marble.

Misty minute.

Metal morals

Made mush.

Midnight moon,

'member me?

MOON

I love being the moon,

I see all the beautiful faces

glowing in my light.

Ever wonder what it's like

to have a shooting star zoom by you?

It feels like a heat wave

as those crazy little flaming balls

fly by.

You know what really feels funny?

When those goofy spaceships land on me.

It feels like a suction cup

on my chalky surface.

It kinda tickles when you humans

walk on me.

Its like getting a shot when you

poke your tiny flags in.

I'm always out,

normally only seen for 12 hours.

I love to see all your faces,

so I try and keep in good rotation.

Next time you look at me,

maybe send me a smile?
