When I first started out in the eWresting thing, I never imagined I would have to write something like this. I never would have thought in my wildest imagination that I would have to write a tribute to such a great athlete who left us too early.

I've made my share of Owen Hart tributes, and most of you who are reading this probibly have read them. They are on every wrestling site I had any part in creating. So I build a new site, and noticeably missing was my tribute to this man all of the wrestling fans knew as Owen. I didn't put it up earlier because I didn't want the same tribute I wrote that's up on every fed in the WWA. Those are my words that someone else changed. No, I wanted something that was from me, from the heart.

I was never fortunate enough to know Owen, or even to have met him for that matter. How did I learn about the happiness he brought to so many people? From other wrestlers, and a close friend who was Owen's biggest fan. I have to admit that I never was the biggest Owen fan. I really started becoming a fan of Owen's when he was doing the "Enough is Enough" bit and was the only white guy in the Nation of Domination. Then the Blue Blazer thing was the greatest.

I know that it's been close to a year since Owen's death and I'm sure most of you won't read this, but I still feel that I should write this tribute as a personal thank you to Owen. This is from me, John, one of probibly 3 billion wrestling fans, to you Owen, one of the greatest entertainers of all time:

Owen, you did a lot for this sport. You came out to that ring for every show and you did the very best you could do to make us happy, to entertain us. Thank you Owen. Thank you for the lifetime of memories. Thank you for coming out to that arena night after night to do one simple thing: Entertain us. Now that you're gone, we see what you not only ment to this great business known as professional wrestling, but what you ment to us as fans. Thank you very much and we will all miss you. Rest peacefully with our Lord.
