Travis Turbyfill Family Fundraiser
Travis Turbyfill, 27
Described by his family as funny and selfless in an obituary on AZCentral.com,
Travis was a Marine who served in the U.S. Forest Service since 2005.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie, and their two daughters, Brynley and Brooklyn.
Our thoughts and heartfelt prayers continue to be focused on one of our ATA brethen, Travis Turbyfill,
who was one of the 19 fallen brave heroes
of the Granite Mountain Hotshots who perished in the line of duty
fighting to contain the Yarnell Wildfire.
We mourn with the nation for the tragic loss of this elite firefighting squad
and no words are adequate to encompass the shock and grief
that must be experienced by their families and friends.
We do hereby dedicate this year's congregation of our annual Arizona Trappers Association Convention
July 26th -27th, Gila County Fairgrounds in Globe
in the memory of Travis Turbyfill
so that we may honor his legacy
of protecting the wild places we love and cherish.
He gave his life when he was called upon to help protect the lives of other souls
including wildlife and to protect our vanishing wilderness.
Our hearts also go out to his wife and his daughters
who must now rebuild their lives without Travis at their sides.
We wish to come together and in this brave man's memory,
do what we can to help the Turbyfill family
through this most difficult of times
by collecting donations that will go directly to the family during our convention.

Our association salutes all first responders
who put their lives on the line whenever and however they are called upon.
