“Circle of Life” is the second and most ambitious in a series of videos aimed at deflating the most persuasive arguments of the animal rights community. The first was “Destroying the Myth.” That video took on the anti’s claim that our traps are cruel and inhumane. Using clear, unadulterated images, “Destroying the Myth” demonstrated unequivocally that the live-hold foot trap does no harm and is quite humane. Animals are held by the foot, unharmed and alive. It told the true story of the live-hold foot trap and showed that it is also used to relocate or check an animal’s health before being released back into the wild.

“Circle of Life” is probably the most important work yet. It strikes the animal rights activists where it hurts the most: in their fundraising pocketbooks. It asks why the hundreds of millions of dollars raised by animal rights groups each year have done nothing to shelter, protect or save the tens of millions of stray dogs and cats littering the American landscape alone. It examines whether someone who eats no meat has a right to claim higher moral and ethical ground than the hunter, trapper, butcher, fisherman, rancher or medical researcher. It asks why humans alone are to be forbidden to hunt when no other species in nature has the same prohibition against hunting.

Most important “Circle of Life” examines the implied claim by animal activists that they save animals from death. Everyone and everything dies. Death cannot be cheated. “Circle of Life” is an important video with an important message for all ages and all who find themselves targeted by the animal rights extremists: trappers, hunters, fishermen, ranchers, medical researchers, etc.

In the end, “Circle of Life” argues that the trapper, hunter, fisherman and scientist have every right to be conservators of animals so long as they treat animals, wild and domestic, with respect.

Filled with gripping images of life and death, this video contains a message important to everyone.

NTA has also gone through the legal process of making FBU an owner of the video. Purchase will be made through FBU.

NTA Elections
An independent printing company does the NTA election mailing. No member of NTA or staff ever has access to “extra” ballots because the printing/mailing company is instructed to destroy any extra ballots after the ballots have been mailed. All ballots returned to NTA Headquarters as non-deliverable are documented and given to the Elections Chairman unopened and copies of all other correspondence pertaining to the election.

Official copies of the mailing list provided to the contracted printing company are maintained by NTA so a record exists of all who were sent a ballot.

NTA does not and should not track numbered ballots. No one ever should be allowed to learn of another’s votes. The numbering system on the NTA ballots is there for security measures instituted by the Elections Chairman.

Affiliate Relations
Please keep us updated to your changes. A reminder goes in the director’s packets but we are still not notified of changes. Contacting 59 affiliates and knowing when your positions change is almost impossible. Having this list of contact individuals is important for many reasons, insurance, affiliation dues, board packets and information, alert lists etc.
