The front view of my nursing peasant dress. The fabrics are actually a tan with little water mills and flowers, deep green grass looking fabric and a mottled rust color.
The back view of my nursing peasant dress. I made a casing with elastic to take in the fullness.
Me nursing Cass ... the openings are actually extended armhole with a crop overlay. The overlay has elastic in the bottom edge to keep it snug.
With the scraps I made a pair of panel pants. I cut the side seams and the waistband off a pair of my dh's jeans. I made a 4" wide panel the length of the pants that extends to about 6" at the bottom. At the top waist I made a waistband with a casing for the drawstring.
