Plain "Vanilla" Ruffled Sock Tops
Materials:
small amount of cotton crochet thread - color of choice (I used a varigated in my example)
size C crochet hook
sc an even number around the top of the sock.
Round 1 - ch 2, work 2 dc in each sc around, join.
Round 2 - ch 2, work 2 dc in each dc around, join.
Fasten off and weave in the ends. Make the second sock top to match.
Rebecca's Lacy Easter Sock Tops
Materials:
small amount of cotton crochet thread - color of choice
size C crochet hook
sc an even number around the top of the sock.
Round 1 - ch 2, dc in same space, *ch2, skip 1 sc, work 2 dc in next sc*,
repeat between * around and join at the end
Round 2 - ch 2, *work 5 dc in next ch 2 space, ch 2*,
repeat between * around finishing with 4 dc in last ch 2 space,
join
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
Make the second sock top to match.
