We have recently moved back to New Mexico due to job changes. We are living on 5 acres in the mountains east of Albuquerque, NM. The goats are happy to be back. I don't think they liked the intense heat of Arizona. We maintain a small but quality herd. We strive to breed a healthy, disease free, quality pygmy goat and miniature dairy goat.
There will be quite a few changes for the new year. We have had a herd name change. To make life easier we wanted to have the same herd name for our goats with all registries. If we kept the Sun Valley herd name we would be unable to do that, so we made the hard decision to pick a new herd name that would work. We are now Sun Catcher. We have also added Mini Lamanchas and Lamanchas and also some Angora fiber goats to our herd as well as miniature horses. We are excited about the new additions. Our website will be udated in the next few months with all the changes.
