there cannot be happiness without sadness
there cannot be the sunshine without rain
no sense of total fulfillment
without once having felt the pain
they say

there is no up without having to go down
there is no going in minus the out
one cannot understand a whisper
if one has never heard a shout
they say

they say that time is a proven healer
they say happiness follows the wait
they say to move on and be patient
they say they understand my fate

it's funny how after all they say,
they've never said how long it would take.......
or that they've ever felt like this
