Thoughts from Stonehenge
So, here I finally sit,
all the beauty of the Earth
seems to charge around us
and through these strong stones.
Defiantly they have stood
in the face of time,
as if expecting someone's arrival.
It seem as though they will wait here forever.
It seems natural to think of You,
as I rest here in the summer sun,
Your stunning face,
Your brilliant smile,
Your cold, cold heart.
How many lonely nights
I've dreamt of You.
But I am not like these strong stones,
I cannot wait for you forever.
For she is here with me.
She is warm and young and beautiful;
And she wants so much for me to kiss her,
as the Day's fading light makes us part of it's masterpiece.
And I am not like these strong stones,
I could not wait for you forever.
