For the weekend of March 30th thru April 1st Phoenix Tabernacle Youth hosted it's annual Youth Convention. This year we had the honor of hearing messages from Bro. Israel Powe of Tucson, AZ. on Friday, Bro. Caleb Perez of Los Cruces, New Mexico on Saturday and Bro. Bernie N. Garcia, Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday Morning. There were visitors from San Diego, CA, Sacramento, CA, New Mexico, Tucson, AZ, Nagadoches, TX, and more. The services began Friday Evening. Saturday Morning another service, however by the permission of our Pastor there was to be no Saturday Evening Service for us to fellowship with the visitors. So following the morning service, the Rising Phoenix Youth Group had a lunch prepared. Later on in the evening members and visitors gathered back to the church grounds to play volleyball, soccer, and games. Sunday morning ended the convention.
