French Foreign Policy and Diplomatic History (Rating: Excellent). This site was evaluated by Beth Garrison. This site provides information on France’s diplomatic history and current foreign policy. It includes the French Government’s press releases on international issues, as well as up-to-date news and the French perspective on diplomacy. Overall this is an excellent site.

British Government Information Service (Zac White)

The British Monarchy (Rating: Excellent). This site was evaluated by Jeremy Allen. This is the official web site of the British Monarchy- a description of the British Monarchy's history and information.

Sinn Fein (Rating: Excellent). This site was evaluated by Jeremy Allen and Jennifer Orr. Sinn Fein web site. The official site for the Sinn Fein political party of Ireland.

The British Parliament (Rating: Excellent). This site was evaluated by John Ramsey. This site contains information on both houses of Parliament, and gives access to their informational offices. Moreover, each house has its own page, which contains a detailed list of links ranging from the house composition to current bills and issues within each house. The house of commons page also offers a research paper menu.

British Social Democratic Labour Party (SDLP) (Rating: Excellent): This site was evaluated by Jennifer Orr. This site gives information about the Social Democratic and Labour Party in Ireland.

British Labour Party (Rating: Good to Excellent): This site was evaluated by Jennifer Orr. The content of this site is reliable. However, the site contains no party manifesto. This official web site of the Labour Party could benefit from that type of statement, and therefore, the site would be better.

British Tory Party (Rating: Good to Excellent): This site was evaluated by Jennifer Orr. This site pertains to political life in the United Kingdom.

British Green Party (Rating: Good to Excellent): This site was evaluated by Jennifer Orr. The content of this site is better than other political parties' sites because it actually lists the party manifesto. It also lists full speeches and documents. The content of this web page is very thorough.

Liberal Democratic Party (Rating: Good to Excellent): This site was evaluated by Jennifer Orr. This is the official web site of the Liberal Democratic Party could benefit from that type of statement, and therefore, the site would be better.

Information on the progress of the European Union (Rating: Excellent): This site was evaluated by Jennifer Orr. The group running this site wishes to go ahead with the next phase in the EU’s progress. This site is a great way to learn about the EU in the present.

Duties and Roles of the Offices of the European Union (Rating: Excellent): This site was evaluated by Jennifer Orr. This site describes the Western European Union’s duties and role.



International Organizations

UNESCO. (Rating: Excellent): This site was evaluated by Paschal Dellavedova. The main objective of UNESCO is to contribute to peace and security in the world by promoting collaboration among nations through education, science, culture and communication.

United Nations. (Rating: Excellent): This site was evaluated by Paschal Dellavedova. The United Nations is an organization of sovereign nations. It provides the machinery to help find solutions to international problems or disputes, and to deal with pressing concerns that face people everywhere. This site provides links to family organizations of the UN, access to databases, and news or current events that report on the UN.

Green Parties (John Ramsey)

OECD. (Rating: Excellent): This site was evaluated by Zac White. The site is used as an official information source for those member nations. There is a section that provides nothing but statistics on various areas of interest. There is included a searchable index, plus a current news section that contains pertinent information about the OECD and its related areas.

International Labor Organization (Rating: Excellent): This site was evaluated by Paschal Dellavedova. The ILO formulates international labor standards in the form of Conventions and Recommendations setting minimum standards of basic labor rights: freedom of association, the right to organize, collective bargaining, abolition of forced labor, equality of opportunity and treatment, and other standards regulating conditions across the entire spectrum of work related issues. This site offers information on these processes and rulings. This site also contains a databases, history, structure and current events within the organization.
