Epsilon Xi Chapter History

General Stats

Our chapter here at Northern Arizona Unversity came to be because of a group of women who believed that this University needed a sorority that was based upon the highest ideals of Christian womanhood and the strongest bonds of sisterhood. It all started way back in the 60's when Gamma Rho Chapter at ASU colonized Epsilon Xi. They interviewed 50+ women and 30 women were accepted into the oldest sorority. On February 24, 1968, Epsilon Xi Chapter of NAU was given it's charter. Today our chapter is one of the leading sororities in the Greek system here on campus. We not only participate in Greek functions, such as; Sisterhood week and our personal favorite, Greek week, as well as other organizations and functions on and off campus. We take pride in our chapter and are respected not only on campus but also throughtout the community.
