How Big Government Libs View U.S. Economy
"Lagging Behind the Wealthy, Many Use Debt to Catch Up" is the heading of a May 17th, 2005 column by Bob Davis in The Wall Street Journal print edition. Anyone with any sensibilities at all as to how income is generated in these United States, and more importantly is spent, finds the title and for that matter, the entire article absolutely absurd. The two paged report begins with the porcine Benjamin Franklin Baggett who ". . . wanted to buy himself and his wife some new clothes and he hadn't saved enough to buy it outright on his $11-an-hour concierge job at a Doubletree Hotel." So, in 1990, he maxed out the $300 limit on his credit card. In 2005, your Mr.Wonderful earns a mere 9.34% more than Baggett, has a two-bedroom apartment in the tony Town of Paradise Valley, entirely supports an aspiring writer-teenager son and has a $3,000 limit (which the ex-wife has used $2,700 to pay property taxes in Texas) credit card in the refrigerator frozen in an empty peanut butter jar. (Why an empty peanut butter jar? Because I eat a lot of fill-the-stomach peanut butter bought on sale.)A vehicle of the richAnd I'm supposed to understand Mr. Baggett's penchant for self-largesse rather than labor? I have humbled myself and shopped at used clothing stores, buying items for pennies on the dollar. And these shirts and pants after a week and one-half of soaking in undiluted PineSol and then ironing at the 'scorch-cotton-setting' are nearly as good and as sanitary as new. I'm fifty-three years old, and my 'department stores' are not Nordstrom's or Dillard's, but T.J. Maxx and Ross. In 1995, the profligate family Baggett furnished the home they couldn't afford using credit cards they couldn't pay off, eventually filing bankruptcy in 2003. Listen to his reasoning, "I felt insecure; I was an hourly paid worker in this fancy neighborhood." God have mercy on America if there are millions of our neighbor's who think like this. I also love the terms "rich" and "wealthy" that are tossed about as if every citizen in this democracy has a birthright to a life of "want-not". But even more odd, especially for a writer who I assume lives in New York City, is his claim that the use of credit allows, ". . . middle and lower-income people financial flexibility that only the rich used to enjoy." Your Mr. Wonderful works in north Scottsdale among the wealthy. These rich and oftimes retired individuals live in mortgage-free $750,000 and up winter homes. They pay cash for $80,000 Range Rovers, eat at restaurants where the tip left behind is more than my son and I pay for an entire meal at Macayo's, own private aircraft, try to ride thunder-clap-loud $50,000 Harley's and chase dimpled white balls on the private country club course in golf carts that cost more than my Hyundai. For three seasons each year they leave cobalt black Lamborghinis and fiery-red Ferarris to bake on two-foot wide Pirelli's in three car garages while they escape Arizona's heat. It seems to me that author Davis and I have quite a difference of opinion over what wealth is. But the kind of wealth I see, the rich I work for, one could hardly keep up with them using $30,000 in credit card debt or even home equity loans. The article zeros in on people living in Utah, many of them Mormons enjoying the large families celebrated by the Church of Latter Day Saints and the fact that the state voted heavily for the evil George Bush rather than the beneficent billionaire and Vietnam War veteran, John F. Kerry. But they fail to mention that many Mormon's, while not only obeying their church's dictum to have babies until the wife's uterus is carried around in a Ziplock bag, must also donate a minimum of at least ten percent of their earnings to the LDS coffers in Salt Lake City. A Biblical tithe that for many Mormons increases to thirty percent of gross family income. The article attempts, by citing Bush fan, Greenspan, and his blessing of the use of personal credit, to the 'fact' that median incomes only rose 11% to tangentially blame these individual's credit woes not on their own urges and addiction to credit, but on the government. The government of George Bush. The Darth Vader of the decade. As if the government could somehow magically increase these citizen's incomes enough so without incurring debt they could afford (after deducting FICA, Medicare and income taxes, of course) the lifestyle they are certain they deserve. It reminds me of an article I read in a recent issue of The Financial Times (the publication that has taken the place of the Cold War's Pravda) where Communist Cuba's Premiere-for-Life, Fidel Castro, had determined that the average citizen's income of 192 pesos a month was not adequate so he raised it to 225 pesos. And that's not all, every citizen will also be entitled to a Communist Chinese-made counter-top burner. Purchased at cost. Of course.

Insulin, Abortion & Murder
Fourteen years ago it is claimed, an empty insulin phial was found in a garbage can at the Schiavo home. Terri Schiavo, the wife of Michael, entered the hospital suffering from, most likely <gasp> the after-effects of a non-diabetic person being surreptitiously shot up with pharmaceutical insulin. Since then, she has been hospitalized and on a feeding tube and all that goes with it. Ouch! Eight days ago, our court system agreed with Mr. Schiavo that the feeding tube must be removed and Mrs. Schiavo 'allowed' to dehydrate like a carved out Halloween pumpkin left in the rays of a sunny Arizona Springtime. By the way, do not confuse Mrs. Terri Schiavo with the woman Michael Schiavo has been living with and has born two children to. Hitler's Holocaust was legal under Germany's laws of the last century. Abortion is legal under U.S. laws From various accounts, Mr. Schiavo and his scumbag trial lawyer (is that being redundant? "scumbag" followed by "trial lawyer"?) sued the 'deep pockets' and reaped anywhere from one million to 1.4 million dollars. $300,000 was awarded for the loss to Michael of the comforting presence of his now permanently plumbed partner. The remainder of the award was for her incredibly expensive medical maintenance. Apparently, not too long after the award, Mr.Schiavo petitioned that his wife was in a 'persistent vegetative state' and should be allowed to expire and along with her, the medical bills that were eating their way through Murdering Mike's payday. The other evening, while rehearsing for the annual Passion Play, I was queried as to my opinion of this case. My thoughts are, that I know that during the years and years this Schiavo situation has stretched, in order that Planned Parenthood could meet its payroll and Holocaust-like physicians could pilot the latest European lux-mobiles; millions of executed innocents have been cut out of their mothers' womb. And I'm left wondering, if maybe some of the effort aimed at saving this one lady, was instead directed into convincing the incredibly self-centered and hedonistic American voter, that "Choice" and legal abortion is indeed murder and by doing that  millions of innocent lives could be saved in the future.

Abortion, Bankruptcy & Ted
In a 56 to 44 Senate vote Tuesday, the "Schumer amendment", which was specifically designed to punish "illegal" protests by anti-murder advocates outside of abortion clinics (the only clinics in this nation, so far, that guarantee death) was defeated. Senator Schumer's amendment would not have allowed Pro-Life demonstrators to escape financial judgments handed down by our goofy courts by declaring bankruptcy. My only experience in a Pro-Life demonstration was not near an abortion clinic, but simply along a side-walked edge of a well traveled Phoenix, Arizona boulevard. It was a silent protest. We did nothing but hold signs and wave at those who waved at us and prayed for those who had survived their moms' abortion choice and now hurled incredible invectives and other projectiles at us. Hell, I don't know, maybe the Pro-Choicer's went down to Dr. Brian Finkle's dumpster, tonged out a few carcasses and flung fresh fetuses at us. Yesterday, the Titanic Ted Kennedy, taking a break from holding up the polished Mahogany bar at Morton's Steakhouse, tells us dumb red-state bumpkin's that the bankruptcy bill hurts ". . . real people who lose their savings . . . or lose their jobs because of outsourcing, or suffer . . . because they were called up for duty in Iraq or Afghanistan." I will attack the last part of this senator's statement first, and that attack begins with the fact that being a voluntarily enrolled member of the Armed Services of the United States (unlike that of France or Spain) means that you may be called to leave your job, leave your home, leave these most blesséd fifty states, travel to foreign lands and kill Muslims. I mean kill those who wish our country physical harm. Yeah, Muslims. Being a patriot has never been inexpensive or risk-free and I thank God that we still have millions of young patriots. Teddy's older brother, John was a patriot. (Horny as a two-peckered billy goat after chomping through a tin-can filled with white-gloved handfuls of Michael Jackson's hastily tossed out "Little Boy Blue" Viagra pills, but a patriot just the same.)

As far as Senator Ted Kennedy's claim of American's losing jobs to outsourcing, I understand statistics continue to reveal that far more jobs are created by corporate in-sourcing than corporate outsourcing. And I might ask Edward which party is behind the stealth outsourcing of millions of American jobs? An outsourcing which also violates federal law? It is the Democratic party. It is the same "working-man's" Democratic party which is all for raising the minimum wage, but is also an unflinching proponent of the importation of armies of below-minimum-wage-earning, morally decadent, illiterate, illegal-alien laborers. Workers that party leadership knows (whether made citizens or not) will vote solidly Democratic. Think about it dear reader: the jobs these Third-World carpetbaggers strip from citizen's are the only jobs THAT CAN NEVER BE OUTSOURCED. For instance, how likely is it that U.S. based contractor would assemble a resort style community the size of say . . . Mexican diversity. Click to enlarge!Anthem, Arizona, and then truck it north of the Carefree Highway and drop it off? Can you imagine driving down to Tijuana or Juarez to get your SUV washed? Or flying south of the border to get Mexican food at a restaurant owned by a Chinaman? Understand that the intricate and highly evolved tasks of maid service, lawn mowing, ditch digging, tree trimming, paving and golf ball washing could never have been "outsourced" in the way huge belly-acher's like Teddy enjoy screaming about, if our federal government actually defended our borders and our state governors prosecuted violations of our immigration laws. But, patriotic Democrats (and yes, even our tall Texan President) realize these tasks can be performed inexpensively by laborers employed illegally after surreptitiously trekking across unguarded sections of our border. The mantra of GW is that the jobs these Mexican's fill are only those that "American's are not willing to do . . ." because American's must earn enough to pay federal taxes such as FICA and Medicare and income taxes. And state and city, property, income and other taxes. Because American's must pay for health insurance, personal property insurance, dental insurance, home insurance, term life insurance, auto insurance and registration. American's take pride in purchasing the food set before their children with dollars they themselves earned. These status conscious Americans insist on adorning themselves in new clothes, albeit off the crowded racks at Ross or TJ Maxx and drive automobiles that have unexploded airbags. Because American's prefer the luxury of living one family to an address, their housing costs are immensely more than illegals, who have no challenge squeezing multiple families or multiple unrelated adult males under a single roof. While child care expenses for citizens run hundreds of dollars per week, while illegals either take their children to work with them, or let them run feral over the neighborhood, sometimes ending up in the bottom of swimming pool, or drop them off at our free public schools where the first letters they learn are A, C, L and U. Citizens faced with these everyday financial realities, left unprotected by a federal government that ignores illegal immigration (and residing in states whose governors have about as much fortitude as a diseased Hunter S. Thompson, faced with a long struggle or a quick bullet, citizens just like your Mr. Wonderful, simply by existing, have priced ourselves out of the job market.

God Spede: Hunter S. Thompson

HST
"On my own front porch I have a palm tree growing in a blue toilet bowl . . . and on occasion I like to wander outside, stark naked and fire my .44 Magnum at various iron gongs I've mounted on the nearby hillside. I like to load up on mescaline and turn my amplifier up to 110 decibles for a taste of "White Rabbit" while the sun comes up on the snow-peaks along the Continental Divide."

Bald Face Lying about Social Security
For those of you who imagine, as I formerly did, that our congressmen and senators know more about many subjects than we mere citizens, you would be mistaken. For instance, you would think that with Arizona being in the heart of the Sonoran Desert every Grand Canyon State congressman would be up-to-date on most water conservation issues. Especially water issues concerning any Arizona citizen with indoor plumbing. (Which leaves out many Native Americans.) I'm writing about the 'water-saving' toilets which require two to three flushes generating 15 gallons of waste water versus the old 'non-water-saving' toilets which required one flush and tumbled only ten gallons of yellow and brown waters into our sewers. Years ago, when I emailed my congressman he knew nothing about these oddly named and federally mandated toilets. Bald Face Lies!

more baldies.
Loads very slow! Likewise it appears, many congressmen and senators are unaware of exactly how Social Security is funded. That, or they are out and out lying sons of bitches. These fine public servants state that there is indeed a "Social Security Trust Fund" thereby implying that there is also something of value in that same trust fund. However, in reality, what is inside the immense coffers that snatch 15% of every labor-earned dollar for the Social Security Trust Fund are bonds issued by our federal government.

bond n. a sealed instrument under which a person, corporation , or government guarantees to pay a stated sum of money on or before a specified day.
Still confused? Well, that confusion has always been part and parcel of the design behind the labyrinthine Ponzi scheme we taxpayers refer to as Social Security. Put simply, regardless of what you may hear from the DeMedia, the three-piece suited gophers dug into the banks of the Potomac or AARP, there is not one single greenback dollar held in the fabled Trust Fund. Currently, there is not one dollar of the fund invested anywhere, in anything. Hence, the DeMedia and the Big Government Crowd can truthfully claim that not a single dollar of the trust fund is at risk. Click to visit Krispy Kreme home page Due to some slight of hand decades ago, what resides in the Trust Fund are only bonds (I.O.U.s, i.e., promises to pay) backed by the taxing power of our federal government. Where do the billions of dollars withheld from the paychecks of millions of employees end up each week? First, current Social Security beneficiaries are paid. Then, with the billions of dollars remaining, the Social Security Trust Fund book ends up with a credit entry while the Federal account records a debit entry (owing the Social Security Trust Fund the identical amount.) Disingenuously, our elected representatives, while bemoaning the future and certain bankruptcy of Social Security (because at some point the withheld monies coming in from those still working will be billions of dollars less than the benefits being paid out to us retiree's) continue to spend the leftover FICA dollars faster than Michael Moore gobbles glazed doughnuts at a Krispy Kreme drive-thru.
