The Democrats can find the most improbable solutions to keeping (and spending) every shilling Congress collects. Now the claim is, that if these surplus tax dollars are not collected by the IRS, the citizens who earned them will, like a drunken Kennedy, shoot their wad of money and "causing inflation and ruining this economy!"
Using that logic, wouldn't high taxes also cause deflation* and ruin the economy? With Clinton/Gore siphoning off more of the earnings of the citizens of this country than in any time in history, we still witness Greenspan raising interest rates, what, six times in the last two years? It seems to me that the Federal Government, spending those trillions of collected tax dollars (like a drunken Kennedy) in very specific areas, must itself cause most inflation. Democrats are not concerned with spending the surplus tax dollars in one minute area of the economy, for example, prescription drugs, and the necessary price inflation that moronic move will cause. But they are vitally concerned with what you and I may do if we are 'allowed' to keep a few percentages more of the money we earn. *(in practice high income taxes will rarely cause deflation, because Congress will eternally wildy spend any money collected like, you guessed it, a drunken Kennedy.)
Watching the Democratic Convention last night, I observed a President who lied to a national television audience and in a filmed federal deposition, continue to lie to an adoring audience.
The teacher members of the N.E.A. have done their job (with one of their brothers featured on the 'Jay Walking' segment of the Jay Leno Show not being able to answer the question, "Who was the Father of our country?") because many in the audience actually believe what this perjurer is saying. The Democrats demand attendees to their convention to reflect America. They even had a quota for 'trans-gender' (aka: 'he-shes') individuals! Bill Richardson (father of the Chinese Nuclear Modernization Project) stated that, the Republicans are "anti-Hispanic in California in regards to immigration." Remembering that four out of ten individuals in that state are of Hispanic origin I wonder what percentage Bill Richardson would consider un-anti-Hispanic? I cracked up when multi-millionaire model, Christie Brinkley, tried to talk like she faced the same "balancing act" that the people the Democratic Party supposedly represents. Har, har! She also had this clear-headed assessment of Republican gun policy, stated model/politician Christie, "Do I believe that we need a gun in every pocket?" Christy, are your bodyguards armed? I know fellow millionaire liberals Madonna and Rosie's are...
Retired Republican Senator John Danforth, serving as special council investigating the needless deaths of eighty four American's at the Branch Davidian compound near Waco, Texas in 1993, has cleared Janet ('Jump Shot') Reno, Bill Sessions, Louis Freeh and the FBI of any wrongdoing. 
Is the FBI file of this fine gentleman in the hands of the Clinton Administration? Was it used to blind him to any contrary evidence?>According to the 7/31-8/6/2000 issue of The Washington Times, Mr. Danforth concluded, after spending $12 million tax dollars, "The government did not:" start a fire, direct gunfire at the compound, use the elite Delta Force, or attempt a cover-up. Of course they did plow any evidence that wasn't gathered in the first 48 hours into the rich Texas soil... But eighty four people are dead, because the government, rather than arrest David Koresh when he was walking the streets of Waco, Texas, instead waited until he was sealed behind the walls of his working-man's Kennedy compound and then attacked. The Clinton Administration's actions in the Lone Star Republic caused the simultaneous death of eighty four American's. But yet let Governor George W. Bush put to death a single convicted multiple murderer after two decades of appeals and that is front page news for months.
On the eve of the Democratic Convention in Los Angeles, I came upon this observation. A recent Heritage Foundation survey reveals that virtually no Congressmen send their children to Washington, D.C., public schools. Some of the prominent liberals who enroll their children in private schools, while promoting the value of public education and vehemently challenging choice, are: President Clinton, Vice-President Albert Gore, Jr., NAACP president Kweisi Mfume, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Roy Romer, who was just named superintendent of the Los Angeles public schools. My son was questioning our decision to keep him at an expensive religious high school and without hesitation I replied, that at today's public schools, "There is no God, there are no rules, safety is non-existent, tenured teachers are on psychoactive drugs, you learn the United States is the most evil country on the planet and that safe sex will prevent teenage pregnancy and disease." If American parents, perhaps by missing one broadcast of Survivor!, took the time instead to wander the campus and the school rooms of their child's high school, they most likely would be ... disgusted and ashamed of the information manure that is oozing from the textbooks, dripping from the posters and filling up the hallways.
On July 16th, 2000, I was listening to Ralph Nader, on Face the Nation, agree with President Clinton's veto of the proposed dismantlement of the current 'estate tax.' Mr. Nader stated, "I'd veto the estate tax too. This is a tax on the super-rich. This $25 billion can be used for important purposes rather than to further spoil the super-rich." Sounds like something Lenin would endorse, eh? Mr.Nader ignores the fact that 65% of these "super-rich" did not inherit their wealth (unlike all Kennedy's) and that the taxes have already been paid once on all the $25 billion he has earmarked for his "important purposes." I've written how childless individuals have little concern with the future. Mr. Nader, if not fibbing again, proves me out. While not owning a car and bragging of wearing the same pair of shoes for forty years, does own $1.2 million stock in the evil corporate giant Cisco Systems and has a net worth of $4 million. This estate tax applied to his "super-rich" sized estate, would funnel $1.8 million to fund whatever "important purposes" the government then desires.
Twenty delegates from the Texas delegation bowed their heads in prayer as Kolbe took the podium. All the major media noted was the bent bodies in the congregation, what Kolbe spoke went unexamined. While your Mr.Wonderful cannot deny that his beliefs and experience declare that homosexuality is a choice, and a deadly choice, he does not intellectually close himself off from homosexuals.
I cannot deny that many of the world's most brilliant individuals were of the gay bent. However, since, with rare exception, homosexuals have only themselves and their friends as family, rarely begetting offspring to contend with, their designs for future generations must always be intimately examined. I could be accused of being homophobic on this contention, but before Mr.Wonderful had children, his lifestyle choices were quite the reverse than today, usually selfish and concerned only his future. Bringing your own children into the world (and becoming a 'breeder' in gay lingo) requires mature adults to look at the world and the future from a far different perspective than the forever childless homosexuals.
They are on paid leave for rest and recuperation due to the stress involved in the investigations. Understand that Clinton's argument is not over the fact that the taxes are and have been over paid, but over who will spend these taxes! When Mr.Wonderful ran his corporation, he faced stress too. Today, marriage, child adoption, child-birth, taking care of incapacitated parents, and death of parents is defined as stress worthy of unpaid leave. Your Mr.Wonderful (and thousands of other business owners) faced those 'stressors' and hundreds of others, without missing a day of work. As a matter of fact the only days I can recall missing work were in the aftermath of a spinal tap and a motorcycle crash which broke my collar bone (and ruined my golf swing.) But yet, when your tax dollars are involved, government contractors are allowed paid leave for the laughable stress of being "under suspicion." Har!
He claims Republican tax cuts will destroy ten years of projected government surpluses? The only way the government collects any meaningful sums is through taxes and if they have a 'surplus' it is because they are collecting too much of those taxes. (Click here to see who pays these taxes.) Now Clinton insists that the fed's, after raiding our Social Security funds for decades, retain for themselves a piggy bank full of trillions of our surplus tax dollars. When we die, the federal tax man is there, when we buy tires the federal excise tax man is there, when we pay our phone bill, the FCC tax man is there, and when we receive our paycheck we find that the IRS has been there first. It is time that the people who actually earn the money insist that they first get a tax cut.
