It has been a long time wish of mine to do a monthly newsletter that serves the purpose of providing
people with truthful scientifically backed information on both weight loss, exercise and health.
I see as one of the main problems facing the consumer in America, the partially correct, slanted
information that reaches us regarding nutrition and, through it, our health.
While I am not debating that fat can lead to elevated cholesterol, it is not the fat that is the catalyst, but
the low fat, low fiber, high glycemic carbohydrates that control the process of converting the fat into
cholesterol.
That is why eating high carbs, low fat (10%) may result in lower overall cholesterol but in the long term an
increase in triglycerides and a lowering of HDL (Good) cholesterol increasing your risk factor for
developing cardiovascular disease.
This newsletter will be dedicated to providing scientifically backed research that we will discuss in easy to
understand language.
The newsletter will serve to educate and inform so that you the consumer can make a common sense
decision on what is best for you.
